How I Got Here

From megacity instincts to systems-level product work.

Born and raised within the concrete jungles of Jakarta, one of the world's most underrated megacities with 42 million people, I developed a natural instinct for observing people and what drives them, alongside a deep curiosity for the broader systems that shape our lives.

My professional experience is shaped by a strong foundation in research and product design, having spent the first 5 years of my career in Southeast Asian unicornA privately held startup valued at more than $1 billion. tech companies serving more than 150 million people across sectors such as fintech for social impact, live entertainment, and travel technology.

Now based in Amsterdam, I have evolved from an interaction-focused designer into a systems thinker focused on venture design and product management. I continued my career in Dutch tech, applying deep technologies like blockchain and AI within complex domains, including supply chains, EU regulation, and sustainability.

I'm currently building Kawan, the Netherlands' first concert & event buddy platform, connecting people who want to attend events together.

Complex systems

I work comfortably in complex environments. With experience navigating EU policy frameworks and multi-layered supply chains, I understand how different parts of a system interact and where interventions create the most impact.

As an entrepreneur and founder of my own startup, I bring a strong business perspective into product decisions, balancing user value with viability and growth.

Strategic thinking with attention to detail

I move fluidly between big-picture thinking and detailed experience design. Service design shapes how I think about systems, interdependencies, and long-term implications, while product and UX design keep me grounded in the details that make or break an experience.

Technology and engineering awareness

While I am not a traditional engineer, I understand technical concepts and workflows, collaborate closely with developers, understand how systems and repositories are structured, and actively ship features myself using AI-assisted development tools.

Aesthetics, branding, and communication design

With a background in visual communication design, I understand how strong aesthetics and clear communication shape perception and trust. I ensure products are coherent, expressive, and aligned with a clear identity.

Off Screen

Outside of work, I enjoy exploring off-the-beaten-path destinations, seeking out good cuisines, creating techno mixtapes, reading science fiction and literature from Global South perspectives, cinema, photography, and discovering new music.
